DEEP BLUE SHORE – UPDATED TERMS & CONDITIONS IN LIGHT OF COVID-19

AVAILABILITY
Arrival time is anytime after 5pm. To ensure that the house is thoroughly cleaned and prepared to enhanced Covid-19 specification, we ask that you do not arrive earlier than this time. In your final confirmation, we will give you details of how to access the key safe for the house. The property must be vacated by 9am, at the very latest, on the day of departure.

BOOKING AND PAYMENT
Bookings are subject to guest confirmation that they will familiarise themselves with and accept Covid-19 social distancing rules and how they will apply to you at the time of travel. These are subject to change at any time. If any existing bookings are affected by these guidelines please contact us asap to discuss options.
Covid-19 has also meant there is a duty of care on us and yourselves towards our housekeeping team and there are some specific requests regarding bedding and rubbish which we will ask you to accept. 
Bookings can only be confirmed after receipt of: The booking form signed, accepting our terms and conditions, by a person over 18 on behalf of your party, and a 25% deposit of the total bill. Payment can be made by cheque (made payable to D Staff), credit or debit card or by direct bank transfer. On confirmation of the booking you become liable for the full balance of the account. THE BALANCE OF THE ACCOUNT MUST BE PAID NOT LATER THAN 6 weeks BEFORE THE BEGINNING OF YOUR BOOKING. A booking made within 6 weeks of the booking starting must be paid in full.

THE OCCUPANTS
No more persons may occupy the property than stated in the original booking confirmation unless agreed in writing by the owners.

NO SMOKING
We operate a NO SMOKING policy in all of our holiday lets. Guests are welcome to smoke in the garden and we ask that they dispose of their cigarette butts appropriately.

DOGS
A well-behaved dog is welcomed by prior agreement. If you wish to bring your dog, please add £20 to the cost of your holiday. All pets MUST be up to date with flea and worming treatments. Pets are not allowed on the furniture or in the bedrooms and must not be left in the house unattended. Owners must keep their pets under control and must not allow their pets to use the gardens as a toilet! Accidents should be cleared up immediately.
CANCELLATION
We strongly recommend cancellation insurance. The booking deposit is not returnable and, in the event of a cancellation where the house is not re-let, you will have to pay the full balance due. Cancellations should be notified in writing as soon as possible so that we can try and re-let the house.
However during the Covid-19 outbreak we will be allowing cancellation and full refund of deposit and final payments for bookings affected by Covid related travel restrictions. This is intended to cover national or local travel restrictions including the restriction on travel to holiday let accommodation. This will apply if restrictions are reinstated after 4/7/20. It is not intended to cover changes to individual circumstances, illness or other restriction including social distancing rules.


DAMAGE OR BREAKAGES
Please ensure that the house is left in a clean and tidy condition. Any damage should be reported to the owners immediately. You mayl be liable for damage or breakages caused by you or your party or if any excessive cleaning is required.

HEATING AND ELECTRICITY
Gas central heating and electricity is provided inclusive in the price.

OUTSIDE PLAY EQUIPMENT
Please ensure that you supervise children at all times whilst they enjoy the play equipment in the garden. The Climbing frame, slide and swing is designed for children aged 11 years and younger – please do not let older children or adults use this equipment as it is not designed to carry their weight! The trampoline has a safely net and can be used by older children and adults but, to prevent the increased risk of collision injury; we ask that you restrict the use of the trampoline to one guest at a time. Please note that you and your party use the garden play equipment at your own risk and we are not responsible for any accident or injury however caused.

LIABILITY
The owners do not accept liability for any personal injuries sustained by you or any member of your party (unless caused by the negligence of the owners or their staff) or for the loss, theft or damage of or to personal property howsoever caused, including motor vehicles. The owners are relieved of all liability should the accommodation reserved not be available due to circumstances beyond their control.



MISREPRESENTATION
All information given in these conditions and all relating literature or given verbally is offered in good faith and in the belief that it is true. The owners cannot accept liability if information becomes inaccurate due to reasons beyond their control.

LEISURE CLUB CONDITIONS
Previously we provided passes to access a local hotels leisure facilities but they are no longer able to offer this service. This offer was always subject to availability and nut guaranteed. The Leisure Club is operated by a third party (The Hannafore Point Hotel) and, therefore , is outside of our control.
